Job Description

Elsevier is hiring a Principal Product Manager, Analytics to help lead the transformation of delivering AI-enabled analytics for internal and external customers. This role sits within the Healthcare Education portfolio and focuses on turning analytics into products that make it easier to discover insights, support decisions, and deliver more personalized experiences.

What you’ll work on

You will define the vision and roadmap for AI-enabled analytics across nursing and medical education products. You’ll also identify where AI can simplify analytics, surface insights, strengthen decision support, and enable more tailored experiences for customers.

From discovery through delivery, you will lead end-to-end product development, including discovery and prioritization, launch, and continuous iteration. A key part of the role is translating customer and business needs into clear product strategies, requirements, and experiences.

How you’ll deliver

  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Data Science, UX, subject matter experts, and customer-facing teams to build scalable solutions
  • Drive cross-functional alignment by communicating product strategy, priorities, decisions, and tradeoffs
  • Establish measures of success across adoption, usability, customer impact, and business outcomes
  • Use customer feedback, product data, and analytics to inform prioritization and continuously improve products
  • Maintain a prioritized, outcome-driven backlog and support agile planning and delivery
  • Champion responsible and practical AI, with attention to quality, privacy, transparency, and trust

What you bring

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, technology products, data products, analytics, or a related field
  • Proven product leadership, with the ability to influence and align cross-functional teams
  • Experience delivering AI-, analytics-, data-, or insight-driven products
  • A practical understanding of AI, analytics, experimentation, and data products
  • Ability to translate complex data concepts into product strategy and meaningful customer value
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and storytelling skills
  • Strong product and project management skills, including managing multiple priorities in an agile environment
  • Healthcare, education, healthcare education, or enterprise software experience is preferred

Compensation and benefits

  • U.S. National Base Pay Range: $118,300 - $219,800 (geographic differentials may apply in some locations)
  • Illinois: $124,200 - $230,800
  • Maryland: $124,200 - $230,800
  • New York: $130,200 - $241,800
  • New York City: $142,000 - $263,800
  • Rochester, NY: $118,300 - $219,800
  • New Jersey: $149,765 - $239,235
  • Annual incentive bonus eligible
