Job Description

The Product Manager for Imaging at Globus Medical is responsible for shaping imaging product strategy and market positioning, guiding cross-functional development, and supporting commercialization from early requirements through post-launch lifecycle performance. This onsite role is based in Audubon, PA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct ongoing market research, competitive analysis, and customer needs assessments to identify opportunities and support product positioning.
  • Collect Voice of Customer (VOC) input from surgeons, healthcare professionals, and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to define product requirements and direct development activities.
  • Define market requirements, product positioning, value propositions, and differentiation strategies.
  • Track industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies across imaging, navigation, robotics, and neurosurgery markets.
  • Evaluate market potential and support business case development for new imaging product opportunities.
  • Collaborate with R&D, Clinical, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams throughout the product development process.
  • Convert customer and market insights into functional and design requirements for new product development.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide commercial input during development.
  • Support development of product launch plans and commercialization strategies.
  • Ensure alignment between customer needs, business objectives, and development priorities.
  • Develop business plans and commercialization strategies for new product introductions.
  • Create product launch materials, marketing collateral, sales tools, and promotional content.
  • Develop and deliver product training programs for internal teams, distributors, and customers.
  • Support sales enablement through clinical, technical, and competitive product training.
  • Partner with commercial leadership to drive product adoption and market penetration.
  • Manage product forecasting, inventory planning, and product performance following launch.
  • Track key business metrics, market feedback, and customer adoption trends to inform product decisions.
  • Generate recommendations for product enhancements and lifecycle management initiatives.
  • Contribute to portfolio planning and long-term growth strategies within the Imaging, Navigation & Robotics portfolio.
  • Serve as a product expert for internal and external stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3-6 years of experience in Product Management, Product Development, Product Marketing, or related commercial roles within the medical device industry.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting new product development and/or product commercialization initiatives.
  • Experience interacting directly with physicians, surgeons, healthcare providers, or clinical customers.
  • Experience working with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and clinical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams without direct authority.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 15-20%.
  • Ability to attend cadaver labs, physician training events, and surgical procedures.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree and/or MBA.
  • Experience in neurosurgery, spine, surgical technologies, navigation systems, robotics, imaging technologies, or capital medical equipment.
  • Experience launching medical devices from development through commercialization.
  • Familiarity with FDA-regulated medical device environments and product lifecycle management processes.
  • Experience developing training programs, sales enablement materials, and marketing campaigns.
  • Knowledge of operating room workflow and surgeon engagement strategies.
