Product Operations Manager
Job Description
The Product Operations Manager partners with product and cross-functional teams to maintain operational quality and drive customer-focused outcomes across Kikoff’s product lifecycle. This role coordinates operational support from early product stages through long-term maintenance, while also leading issue diagnosis, post-launch processes, and compliance-related initiatives.
Location and Compensation
- Location: San Francisco, CA (onsite)
- Salary range: USD 160,000 - 200,000 per year
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with product managers and internal stakeholders to ensure products receive the operational support needed from inception through ongoing product maintenance.
- Lead cross-functional efforts to diagnose and prioritize root causes of user and product issues, coordinating closely with teams including product, compliance, and engineering to drive action.
- Conduct and own customer interviews, capture and evaluate feedback on features, and ensure product support needs are assessed accurately and met.
- Drive policy changes related to compliance, delinquency, and charge-off reporting, maintaining detailed documentation and product changelogs to support transparency and operational efficiency.
- Own end-to-end product quality across product pods by identifying gaps, influencing prioritization, and driving cross-functional solutions.
- Manage product partners and vendors, including onboarding, QA, and service level agreements (SLAs).
What You Bring
- Experience: 5+ years in B2C Tech, Product, Operations, Consulting, or a fast-paced start-up environment.
- People leadership: 1+ years of experience as a people manager.
- Execution: strong project management skills and the ability to align internal and external stakeholders.
- Vendor management: experience managing vendors against SLAs.
- Analytical problem solving: the ability to diagnose and prioritize product issues in a fast-paced environment.
- Launch and process improvement: a track record of running launches and driving process improvements for long-term operational success.
- Strategic communication: strategic thinking and the ability to communicate long-term product strategy.
