Senior Product Manager
Job Description
As a Senior Product Manager at Salient, you will take end-to-end ownership of one or more Marshall product areas, partnering with engineering, design, implementation, customers, and leadership to drive customer adoption and measurable operational outcomes.
Role Overview
In this position, you own product direction and execution for compliance and servicing workflows, scorecards and insights, and LMS integrations. You will define the customer problem, guide sequencing from discovery to specifications and launch, and ensure outcomes are measured through adoption and operational impact rather than feature completion alone.
Key Responsibilities
- Own one or more Marshall product areas end to end, working closely with engineering, design, implementation, customers, and company leadership.
- Own the customer problem, product direction, execution, launch, adoption, and measurable outcomes.
- Size and scope major product areas within Marshall based on complexity, maturity, and customer needs.
- Expand compliance, servicing, scorecards, and insights across calls, translating findings into operational action.
- Own loan management system integrations by connecting lender systems using reusable integrations, canonical data models, and clear system-of-record boundaries.
- Launch opinionated 0-to-1 products on the LMS foundation as the platform and customer needs mature.
- Drive end-to-end outcomes across the portfolio, from field discovery and strategy through specifications, launch, adoption, and measurable operational impact.
- Make product decisions that strengthen shared platform capabilities rather than accumulating bespoke customer implementations.
- Own portfolio strategy, boundaries, sequencing, and product quality in partnership with the broader Marshall team.
Requirements
- Have owned meaningful enterprise product areas end to end, with the ability to adjust operating depth to match problem complexity.
- Have shipped 0-to-1 products from an ambiguous operational problem through production adoption.
- Take a firsthand approach by traveling and learning lender workflows by sitting beside operators, including exceptions and workarounds.
- Define success through customer adoption and operational outcomes rather than feature delivery alone.
- Reason through integrations, data models, workflow state, permissions, migrations, auditability, and source-of-truth boundaries.
- Develop a strong product opinion on what to standardize, configure, or decline.
- Show instincts for regulated, high-consequence systems and safe failure behavior.
- Communicate clearly with frontline operators, lender executives, risk teams, and engineers.
Additional Considerations
- Experience with loan servicing, collections, loan management systems, core banking, or adjacent financial operations.
- Experience building integration, data, workflow automation, system-of-record, compliance, or quality-management products.
- Background in contact-center analytics or AI-powered enterprise software.
Benefits
- Medical, dental, and vision coverage
- Generous 401(k)
- Catered lunches
Compensation and Location
- Location: San Francisco, CA (onsite)
- Salary: USD 180,000 - 240,000 per year
