Job Description
Amazon's Prime Video Experience Tech organization is seeking a Senior Product Manager to shape and drive the live video playback roadmap and the customer experience across devices and geographies. Based onsite in Seattle, WA, this role carries end-to-end ownership and requires strong cross-functional collaboration with engineering, design, and program management to deliver a high quality digital video product. The position offers a salary range of USD 151,200 to 204,600 per year and requires a bachelor's degree.
Responsibilities
- Build a thorough understanding of Prime Video customers, including current users and prospects.
- Map digital video market segments and monitor the competitive landscape and evolving industry trends.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to establish the product vision, define strategy and roadmaps, and identify metrics to deliver an outstanding digital video experience.
- Own the creation of detailed product requirements documents.
- Coordinate with engineering, design, and program management to execute the roadmap.
- Lead cross-team projects, product initiatives, and feature launches across multiple groups.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 2+ years of end to end product delivery experience
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience owning and driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
- Experience managing technical products or online services
