Sr. Product Manager
Job Description
CNMK Texas Properties, LLC. is seeking a customer-obsessed, data-driven Senior Product Manager to help shape Cinemark’s digital experience across Cinemark.com and mobile applications. This role owns key customer journeys tied to digital content and the broader ticket purchasing and purchase experience, working closely with cross-functional partners to deliver customer and business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Defines the outcomes the product must achieve and maintains accountability for adoption, growth, customer value, and business value.
- Establishes product direction, clarifies why it matters, and explains how the specific product area and ongoing projects support company priorities.
- Maintains ongoing contact with customers and stakeholders to validate problems, assumptions, and opportunities before and during delivery.
- Provides alignment, context, clarity, and decision velocity across Product, Engineering, Design, Analytics, Operations, and business partners.
- Ensures successful product launches by owning the full end-to-end product lifecycle, from requirements gathering through development and testing, and owning launch readiness.
- Builds and maintains the product vision and strategy for the assigned business or customer area.
- Identifies customer, business, operational, and technology-enabled opportunities.
- Translates company goals into measurable product outcomes and actionable roadmaps.
- Leads continuous discovery through collaboration with business partners and through customer observation, research, data, and feedback analysis.
- Defines customer and business problems using firsthand evidence rather than relying only on submitted requests.
- Validates value, usability, feasibility, and viability risks before significant development investment is made.
- Partners with Product, Engineering, Design, Analytics, Operations, and business stakeholders to test assumptions and shape viable options.
- Uses experiments, prototypes, pilots, and other learning methods to reduce uncertainty and avoid unnecessary development.
- Develops and maintains a deep understanding of Cinemark’s business, customers, industry trends, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and inform product strategy.
- Aligns, owns, and prioritizes the product backlog and roadmap for the domain, ensuring alignment to company goals and measurable customer and business outcomes.
- Makes informed tradeoffs balancing customer needs, business needs, technical reality, strategic priorities, risk, and expected value.
- Ensures every request does not automatically become a roadmap commitment.
- Maintains transparency regarding priorities, decisions, assumptions, dependencies, and changes in direction.
- Creates clear and effective product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, workflows, and supporting documentation.
- Acts as the product leader within the product-engineering-design partnership, providing alignment, context, clarity, and decision velocity.
- Guides design direction with an end-user and customer mindset.
- Partners with Product peers to connect roadmap outcomes to executable team backlogs while preserving clear accountability for strategy and delivery.
- Supports timely decisions during delivery when evidence, scope, risk, or constraints require a tradeoff.
- Defines measurable outcomes and success indicators before prioritization and delivery decisions are finalized.
- Monitors behavioral analytics, adoption metrics, funnel performance, retention, operational measures, customer feedback, and experiment results to inform product direction.
- Evaluates whether launched capabilities achieved the intended customer and business results and drives iteration, optimization, or a change in direction when outcomes are not met.
- Communicates product performance, insights, decisions, and recommended next steps to leadership and stakeholders.
- Collaborates with business leaders and cross-functional partners to align priorities, communicate progress, and drive shared ownership of outcomes without direct authority.
- Serves as a trusted advisor on digital commerce experiences, customer behavior, and product best practices.
- Champions agile product management principles, customer-centric thinking, and continuous improvement across the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- 6+ years of experience in product management, product ownership, digital product leadership, or an equivalent role in a software or technology-enabled environment.
- 4+ years managing digital products, including websites, mobile applications, or other eCommerce experiences.
- Demonstrated experience creating product strategy, defining measurable outcomes, and translating strategy into prioritized roadmaps.
- Demonstrated experience conducting customer or stakeholder discovery and using evidence to validate problems, assumptions, and opportunities.
- Strong business judgment, including the ability to make prioritization and investment tradeoffs with incomplete information.
- Ability to use qualitative and quantitative data to assess customer behavior, product performance, adoption, and business impact.
- Strong facilitation, communication, and executive-level storytelling skills.
- Experience leading cross-functional partnerships across Product, Engineering, Design, Analytics, Operations, and business stakeholders.
