Job Description

The Digital Product Manager at Allstate directs the strategy, delivery, and ongoing optimization of cybersecurity products and controls within the ACC organization, partnering with security, engineering, risk, and business stakeholders to strengthen security operations, reduce risk, and promote secure-by-design practices.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and implement the product vision, strategy, and roadmap with clear success metrics.
  • Convert security, risk, compliance, and operational needs into scalable product capabilities.
  • Prioritize initiatives that enhance security workflows, data quality, automation, and platform adoption.
  • Align product outcomes with enterprise risk reduction and business objectives.
  • Translate cyber operations needs into testable hypotheses, epics, and user stories; lead discovery to drive measurable outcomes.
  • Lead discovery, requirements gathering, and framing of the product.
  • Collaborate with security, engineering, risk, compliance, and business stakeholders to define solutions.
  • Translate complex business and technical requirements into epics, features, user stories, and backlogs.
  • Represent the voice of the customer and sustain continuous feedback loops.
  • Own backlog management, prioritization, and Agile delivery processes.
  • Partner with engineering and architecture teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions.
  • Drive iterative releases and maintain alignment across cross-functional teams.
  • Communicate progress, risks, tradeoffs, and outcomes to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Develop products that improve cybersecurity, governance, and compliance.
  • Support automation of controls, monitoring, evidence collection, and lifecycle management.
  • Integrate security and control capabilities into engineering workflows and enterprise platforms.
  • Ensure products embody secure-by-design and governance-by-design principles.
  • Define and monitor KPIs, OKRs, and product success measures.
  • Track adoption, operational efficiency, control effectiveness, and platform utilization.
  • Deliver data-driven insights and executive reporting to inform decisions.
  • Influence product and security strategy through data-driven recommendations.
  • Lead product ceremonies, roadmap discussions, and stakeholder alignment activities.
  • Mentor product peers and promote product management best practices.
  • Balance innovation with governance, security, and long-term sustainability.

Requirements

  • Proven experience guiding product strategy, roadmaps, backlogs, and enterprise-scale delivery.
  • Strong discovery, prioritization, stakeholder management, and Agile delivery skills.
  • Experience using KPI-based decision making to achieve measurable outcomes.
  • Excellent communication, executive reporting, and cross-functional leadership abilities.
  • Ability to translate complex technical, security, or business problems into scalable solutions.
  • 7 or more years of experience preferred.
  • Create, drive, and execute product strategy for one or more security-focused digital products.
  • Coach and mentor team members and cross-functional partners in collaboration, research, testing, measurement, and rollout.
  • 5 or more years of experience preferred.
  • Contribute to defining, delivering, and managing the lifecycle of one or more products.
  • Lead Consultant supports establishing strategic product vision, discovery, roadmaps, and backlog to maximize value.

Compensation

Annual salary range of USD 120,000.00 to 193,725.00, determined by experience and qualifications.

DPM Expert Level

  • 7 or more years of experience preferred.
  • Create, drive, and execute product strategy for one or more security-focused digital products.
  • Coach and mentor team members and cross-functional partners on collaboration, idea generation, research, testing and rollout.

DPM Lead Consultant

  • 5 or more years of experience preferred.
  • Contribute to defining, delivering, and managing the lifecycle of one or more products.
  • Assist in establishing strategic product vision, discovery, roadmaps, and backlog to maximize value.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in cybersecurity, technology risk, compliance, controls, DevSecOps, or secure engineering environments.
  • Familiarity with security operations workflows, telemetry or observability concepts, and analyst tooling.
  • Familiarity with NIST, ISO, Zero Trust, or similar security frameworks.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), security tools, automation, AI/ML-enabled products, Data Science, or enterprise platforms.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD, security workflows, governance, observability, and data products.
  • Security or cloud certifications preferred.
