Director, Product Manager
Job Description
At Fidelity Investments, Fidelity Health is looking for an experienced product management leader to help shape the next generation employee digital experience for benefits enrollment decision-making. This role focuses on improving the end-to-end enrollment journey through product strategy, cross-functional execution, and continuous discovery grounded in data and measurement.
You will define and evolve the product vision and roadmap for benefits enrollment experiences and decision-support capabilities, partnering across Technology, UX Design, User Research, Legal, Risk, and Compliance to deliver solutions that are scalable and aligned with business goals and key results.
What you’ll do
- Establish and communicate the vision, strategy, priorities, and roadmap for benefits enrollment experiences and decision-support capabilities aligned to business goals and key results
- Deliver intuitive, engaging digital solutions that help employees navigate enrollment and make confident health and financial benefits decisions
- Translate strategic goals into a prioritized product backlog with user needs, business value, and acceptance criteria
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including Technology, UX Design, User Research, Legal, Risk, and Compliance, to deliver scalable, adherent solutions
- Drive continuous product discovery using customer research, data insights, and experimentation to improve enrollment experience and outcomes
- Use data and critical metrics to measure enrollment experience performance, supervise adoption, and continuously improve outcomes
- Collaborate with partners to align on priorities, timelines, and outcomes, and provide communication on progress and risks
- Support successful delivery through release planning, business readiness, and organizational change initiatives, especially for enrollment-related capabilities
- Make informed trade-offs balancing customer value, quality, cost, and speed to market
- Impact consistency and integration across Fidelity digital experiences to support a cohesive end-to-end enrollment journey
- Maintain a solid understanding of customer needs, market trends, and the benefits enrollment landscape
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
- 5+ years of product management experience
- 7–10+ years of experience in financial services, health, or benefits-related domains
- Experience delivering customer-facing digital products, ideally in benefits enrollment or related experiences
- Demonstrated expertise in product positioning, product development, product strategy, and strategic decision-making
- Proven track record leading cross-functional collaboration and multi-stakeholder alignment to drive product development and delivery
- Experience developing robust business cases, setting strategic direction, and delivering on shared organizational goals
- Strong relationship-building, interpersonal, and communication skills, including the ability to influence across all levels and present complex concepts effectively
- Ability to think strategically, innovate, and develop differentiated customer-centric experiences in complex decision-making environments such as benefits enrollment
- Ability to take a data-driven approach to understanding customer needs and translating business priorities into actionable requirements
- Experience working closely with technology teams to ensure solutions are scalable and successfully implemented
- Proven ability to influence and lead without formal authority, driving success with high-performing cross-functional teams
- Understanding of benefits offerings and employee needs (e.g., health, savings, or related products) preferred

The team
- The Benefits Enrollment and Intelligence Product Area focuses on evolving digital experiences that support employees through critical moments of benefits enrollment and benefits decision-making
- Responsibilities include delivering modern, data-informed capabilities that simplify sophisticated enrollment choices and improve customer outcomes
- You will work closely with product managers, technology teams, and colleagues across Fidelity Health and Workplace Investing to deliver integrated, scalable solutions within a coordinated and evolving ecosystem
Onsite work model
- Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles
- Some roles and locations currently require 100% onsite while others require less
- Onsite expectations may evolve as the rollout continues
- This transition does not apply to fully remote roles
