Job Description

Join Dutch Bros Coffee in a hands-on Product Owner role focused on the digital employee experience end to end. You will own the digital workplace portfolio anchored on Microsoft 365, guiding delivery across AI assistants, agentic automation, adoption enablement, governance and compliance, and measurable value tracking.

You will work onsite in Tempe, AZ (4 days per week in office, Mon to Thurs, with Fridays optional for remote work). This role is built for someone who wants to stay close to execution, configure solutions personally, and partner with business and technical teams to turn employee needs into working digital workflows.

What you’ll do

  • Own the vision, roadmap, and prioritized backlog for the digital workplace portfolio; translate business needs into user stories and functional requirements, then sequence delivery with Agile practices aligned to company priorities.
  • Drive the roadmap for AI assistants and agentic automation anchored on Microsoft 365 Copilot, identifying high-impact use cases across corporate, regional, and shop teams; configure Copilot, build agents in Copilot Studio, and move efforts from prototype through pilot to enterprise scale.
  • Serve as the face of digital workplace technology across the enterprise by building and scaling a Champions network, hosting interactive workshops and office hours, and authoring continuous enablement and self-service resources that convert manual tasks into seamless digital workflows.
  • Partner with business lines to map how work gets done today, then configure and build the solution yourself in Teams, SharePoint, Viva, and the Power Platform; reduce shadow IT, consolidate redundant tools, and help lower the total cost of the digital workplace portfolio.
  • Own day-to-day tenant configuration and health, including provisioning and lifecycle settings, policy and feature rollout, and Microsoft release and roadmap management; provide escalation support alongside the service desk, endpoint, and vendor teams to keep the environment stable and current.
  • Work with Information Security, Infrastructure, and Legal to ensure workplace and AI tools meet data governance, information protection, licensing, and compliance standards; define provisioning and acceptable-use policies and configure enforcement controls.
  • Define and track KPIs and OKRs for adoption, productivity, and cost; build reporting from usage telemetry and user feedback to prioritize the roadmap and report measurable business value to leadership.
  • Provide product leadership, coaching, and hands-on technical guidance to product owners, analysts, engineers, and vendor partners; prototype solutions to de-risk decisions and lead design reviews while shaping long-term digital workplace strategy.

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, business, or related field (or equivalent experience) and 8+ years in technical product management, digital workplace engineering or administration, or enterprise collaboration consulting and solution architecture.
  • Deep hands-on expertise administering enterprise collaboration and productivity platforms, with primary depth in Microsoft 365: Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Exchange Online, Viva, and the Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, and Entra admin centers.
  • Experience personally deploying Microsoft 365 Copilot (or comparable enterprise AI), including use case discovery, tenant and licensing configuration, pilot design, prompt and agent development, and measurement of business value.
  • Hands-on experience building and shipping automated and agentic workflows on low-code platforms such as the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio), including integrations with adjacent HR, ITSM, and line-of-business systems.
  • Comfort with large-scale scripting and administration: PowerShell, Microsoft Graph and the Graph API, and PnP tooling to configure tenants, bulk-provision workspaces, and extract usage data.
  • Ability to troubleshoot with the service desk and endpoint teams on Intune-managed devices, handle escalations and Microsoft support cases, and convert recurring issues into lasting fixes.
  • Product management fundamentals: translating business needs into user stories, functional requirements, and a well-prioritized backlog using Agile methodologies.
  • Use of user research, journey mapping, and business process discovery to identify friction and build a prioritized digital workplace backlog.
  • Track record driving measurable adoption through change management, champion networks, enablement programs, workshops, and self-service content.
  • Experience partnering with Information Security and Infrastructure on identity, data governance, information protection, licensing, and compliance for collaboration and AI tools.
  • Ability to define and report KPIs and OKRs, building reporting from Microsoft 365 usage telemetry, Microsoft Graph data, and Power BI to demonstrate return on investment.
  • Experience influencing senior stakeholders and executives, with comfort presenting to large audiences through training, webinars, and enterprise communications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including translating technical concepts for non-technical teams.
  • Preferred: Microsoft certifications (such as Microsoft 365 Certified, Teams Administrator, or Service Adoption Specialist) and experience supporting a distributed, multi-site retail or restaurant workforce.
