Senior AI Product Manager
Job Description
Motorola Solutions’ Design and Tools (D&T) group is seeking aSenior AI Product Manager to own the AI value stream, shaping strategy, roadmaps, and execution. The role guides data scientists in building predictive and prescriptive ML models and drives automation to enhance workflows for agents, field teams, and partner networks. This position is based in Schaumburg, IL with hybrid work options, offering a competitive salary and the opportunity to influence AI across customer care and operations.
Location: Schaumburg, IL (hybrid). Compensation: USD 120,000 - 140,000 per year. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or IT-related field. Experience: 5+ years in product management, program management, or team leadership.
Responsibilities
- Develop the overarching strategy, vision, and roadmap for all AI initiatives to meet business goals
- Gather and analyze user feedback to prioritize features on the product roadmap by impact and feasibility
- Track core product metrics and analyze user behavior to inform enhancements and measure ROI
- Collaborate with global stakeholders to align on priorities and drive successful project delivery
- Define requirements, design, and architecture for AI projects in partnership with Salesforce and ServiceNow product managers
- Articulate the value of delivered solutions to leadership and manage product launches
- Identify and prioritize AI use cases in customer care to elevate support efficiency
- Lead feature planning, prioritization, and execution for advanced automation capabilities
- Create AI project charters and statements of work to secure stakeholder buy-in for project initiation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an IT-related field
- 5+ years of product management, program management, or team leadership experience
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required; employer sponsorship is not available
- Experience with Generative and Conversational AI to design and implement AI-powered features for customer-facing channels (chatbots, virtual agents)
- Knowledge of Natural Language Processing (NLP) for sentiment analysis and topic modeling to detect trends and root causes
- Cloud computing experience with public clouds such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure
- Experience with ServiceNow and Salesforce to leverage platform features and enhance the support workflow ecosystem
- Background in Customer Care Operations to support a high-volume technical support organization and drive efficiency
- Data science leadership to guide teams building predictive and prescriptive ML models
- Strong communication skills for presenting technical value to leadership and working under pressure
- Time management skills to prioritize, multitask, and coordinate across functional groups
