This role blends product development, analytics, and customer experience, building deep expertise in LLMs, Model Context Protocol (MCP), and agent-to-agent interactions to unlock real member value. Based in New York, NY with a hybrid work model, this position offers a collaborative environment that prioritizes impact, learning, and cross-functional teamwork.
Salary: USD 89,250 - 150,250 per year

Responsibilities
- Design and deliver membership experiences for Amex Card Members through AI and LLM partner channels
- Support the creation of agent-driven experiences that help members maximize membership benefits, including insights into spending and trip bookings
- Integrate product development with analytics and customer experience to create cohesive member journeys
- Develop specialization in LLMs and enabling technologies such as Model Context Protocol and agent-to-agent interactions
Requirements
- Minimum of two years in product development/management or software engineering in AI, digital products, financial services, fintech, servicing, or partner-enabled customer experiences
- Familiarity with GenAI concepts such as Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) is preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven experience evaluating product performance, identifying customer needs, and supporting recommendations
- Strong customer empathy, familiarity with customer research methods, and ability to identify friction to shape intuitive and trustworthy experiences
- Familiarity with technologies for third-party integrations, such as APIs, OAuth, and SDKs
- Ability to translate customer, business, and technical needs into clear requirements, user stories, process flows, analyses, and product documentation
- Ability to build relationships quickly and collaborate across teams and stakeholders
- Gathers information, assesses tradeoffs and risks, and supports recommendations with evidence
- Recognizes issues quickly and drives resolution through creative and efficient problem solving
- Curious and entrepreneurial, able to connect across teams and technologies and move between analysis and execution
- Creative within a highly regulated financial-services environment
- Team player, comfortable with ambiguity, highly organized, and able to manage multiple priorities and dependencies
