Technical Product Manager (Systems)

The Technical Product Manager (TPM) will partner with Marketing Product Management and cross-functional stakeholders to turn customer and stakeholder needs into clear, testable system and sub-system requirements across hardware, firmware/software, connectivity, and cloud. In this role, you will drive technical clarity from requirements through delivery and own intake and prioritization for the R&D engineering pipeline.

Product Definition Partnership

• Co-own product definition with Marketing PM, including PRD/TPP, user needs, use cases, and target outcomes, while ensuring feasibility and testability.
• Translate PRD and user needs into system and sub-system requirements and technical acceptance criteria to build shared understanding across engineering domains.

System and Sub-System Requirements Ownership

• Author and maintain system and sub-system requirements that are unambiguous, feasible, verifiable, and traceable, with clear acceptance criteria.
• Decompose requirements across mechanical, electrical, firmware, software, connectivity, and cloud, ensuring constraints and assumptions are explicit.
• Own requirements change control for the assigned product, including impact analysis, review and approval facilitation, and controlled updates throughout the lifecycle.

Traceability and Verification Alignment (Design Controls Support)

• Maintain bidirectional traceability from user needs to system requirements, design outputs, and verification evidence, including trace links, trace matrix, and rationale.
• Partner with Verification & Validation to align verification plans and protocols with requirement intent and acceptance criteria, resolving ambiguity and gaps early.
• Manage requirements and traceability artifacts through PLM to support lifecycle governance, controlled changes, and auditable history.

Technical Tradeoffs, Risks, and Delivery Enablement

• Lead technical tradeoff discussions for the assigned product, documenting decisions and rationale across architecture, scalability, performance, reliability, security, and serviceability.
• Identify risks and dependencies, drive mitigation plans, and escalate timely decisions as needed.

• Salary: USD 86,000 - 101,241 per year
