Brokerage Product Owner

Lead product delivery for a global portfolio of brokerage capabilities from Tempe, partnering with teams across Chicago and the broader organization.

Responsibilities

• Define product strategy, roadmaps, and priorities in collaboration with Product Management, business, and technology teams.
• Build business cases, cost-benefit analyses, and funding requests aligned to strategic, regulatory, and risk priorities.
• Drive initiatives end to end, covering requirements, testing, implementation, and post-go-live support.
• Maintain the product catalogue and backlog in Azure DevOps (or similar); create user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Coordinate UAT, sign-off, and demos to support release readiness.
• Act as, or support, Application Owner for assigned applications, ensuring records and documentation are maintained.
• Coordinate access, control, and resilience reviews, including audit requests.
• Partner with Technology, Support, and vendors on incidents, defects, and upgrades.
• Prepare Product Risk Assessments with Risk, Compliance, and Information Security.
• Raise ZIP procurement requests and support vendor due diligence, contracts, and funding approvals.
• Track risks, issues, and decisions through to closure.
• Document data lineage, definitions, critical data elements, and quality reviews for assigned products.
• Work with Operations, Compliance, and Regulatory Reporting to deliver regulatory change and strengthen controls.
• Build relationships across Brokerage, Operations, Technology, Risk, Compliance, Finance, Procurement, and vendors.
• Facilitate workshops and governance reviews, provide senior stakeholders with updates and recommendations, and maintain documentation and release communications.

Requirements

• Experience in Product Management or Ownership, Business Analysis, Application Support, Change Management, Operations, or Technology Delivery; interest in growing into a Product role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to structure requirements and support technology-enabled solutions.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across all levels.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities across locations and time zones.

• Power BI, Snowflake, SQL

Preferred

• Brokerage, Capital Markets, Asset Management, or Investment Banking experience, including trading, operations, onboarding, or regulatory reporting workflows.
• Experience with application ownership, product risk assessments, procurement, vendor management, or data governance.
• Agile experience with Azure DevOps or JIRA.
• Exposure to Power BI, Snowflake, or SQL.
• Relevant Product, Agile, Business Analysis, or Change certifications.
