CRM IT Product Owner - US Oncology
Job Description
Own the technical delivery and optimization of U.S. Oncology CRM and data engagement capabilities in a hybrid role based in Gaithersburg.
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical build-out and day-to-day optimization of Salesforce Life Science Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Data Cloud.
- Support deployment of Agentforce pilots to automate customer interactions and improve field force productivity.
- Execute the technical strategy for omnichannel journeys, ensuring Data Cloud triggers real-time, personalized actions for field reps in the CRM.
- Develop and maintain API-first and event-driven integrations between Salesforce and oncology data sources including claims and EHR feeds.
- Run an engineering squad through Scrum/Kanban (daily execution), including code reviews and enforcement of DevSecOps practices such as CI/CD and automated testing.
- Review external partner technical deliverables to confirm alignment with internal architectural principles and code quality expectations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in CRM or related Customer Engagement processes.
- Deep technical experience with Veeva CRM and/or Salesforce Life Science Cloud, including configuration of Data Cloud and Marketing Cloud.
- Proficiency in RESTful API design and Event-Driven Architecture (EDA) using tools such as MuleSoft or Kafka.
- Proven experience leading engineering squads, managing technical debt, and driving GitFlow and CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to explain technical trade-offs to IT partners and translate business requirements into technical designs.
- Hands-on experience or certifications in Salesforce Agentforce and/or building autonomous agents using LLMs and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation).
- Deep understanding of U.S. Oncology, including HIPAA, claims data, EHR models, and related regulatory considerations.
- Proficiency in AWS or Azure with experience in serverless computing (Lambda/Functions) or data warehousing (Snowflake).
- Experience managing Managed Services and/or System Integrator (SI) partners to ensure code quality and adherence to architectural blueprints.
