Digital Product Manager/Owner (Salesforce)
Job Description
Calance US is seeking a Digital Product Manager/Owner with Salesforce expertise to own end-to-end product delivery for Salesforce and mobile applications at a financial services client in a hybrid Torrance, California environment. This contract role combines leadership with hands-on product craftsmanship, guiding cross-functional teams through ideation, development, testing, and release while aligning with SLAs and enterprise objectives. The role carries an hourly rate of USD 74 and sits in a dynamic setting where collaboration with business, IT, and operations is essential.
Responsibilities
- Lead the product team as the subject-matter expert for Salesforce and mobile app environments, guiding strategy and delivery.
- Write well-defined user stories with clear acceptance criteria to drive development.
- Partner with business and IT to document process flows and status reporting.
- Produce and execute structured test scripts for user acceptance testing and support other testing streams, triage issues, and report results.
- Provide nationwide support for operations including the chat line and inbox, plus training and organizational change management for customers, dealers, and field teams.
- Collaborate with CX, business, development, and testing resources to imagine, write, deliver, and validate user stories.
- Lead initiatives by presenting plans and budgets to leadership to articulate opportunities and secure approvals.
- Maintain operations to meet service level agreements across payments batches, deployments, maintenance, vendor releases, platform updates, incident management, licensing, cost management, and vendor management.
- Steer Agile sprint planning, demonstrations, retrospectives, and backlog management.
Requirements
- 7+ years in product management, development, or operations for customer-facing digital products, ideally for a Fortune 500 brand.
- 3+ years of leadership experience managing diverse teams across business and IT, internal and external, onshore, nearshore, and offshore.
- 2+ years of experience in payments, financial services, or captive finance sectors.
- 1+ years of roadmap and business planning experience, including driving procurement processes from option identification through RFI/RFP evaluations and vendor selections.
- Experience developing roadmaps and comprehensive business plans.
- Experience leading grooming sessions, capturing requirements and acceptance criteria, prioritizing and sizing work, supporting user acceptance testing, and assisting field training.
- Experience collaborating with UX, marketing, and training teams while coordinating with engineering, testing, SOX, compliance, and legal.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication across multidisciplinary teams.
