Job Description

Mech Product Manager-Tech, Data Center Engineering at Amazon Data Services, Inc. steers hardware product roadmaps and collaborates with global liquid cooling suppliers alongside cross-functional teams to deliver scalable AWS data center equipment.

Austin, TX (onsite)

Compensation

Salary: USD 129,200 to 174,800 per year

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 4+ years of customer-facing product development and product management, including defining, launching, and optimizing product and services experiences
  • 2+ years managing hardware products for direct-to-chip or immersion forms of liquid cooling

Responsibilities

  • Review, update, and approve equipment submittals
  • Collaborate with global liquid cooling equipment suppliers and manufacturers
  • Build trust and relationships with stakeholders across reliability, operations, design, and compliance
  • Manage concurrent projects across multiple geographic zones
  • Understand and explain complex systems in clear and concise language
  • Develop product roadmaps
  • Listen to the voice of the customer to capture technical and business requirements
  • Work with global suppliers and manufacturers to design new products
  • Contribute to the global knowledge base and drive a cycle of continuous improvement at scale
  • Travel domestically and internationally up to 30% to 40% of the year

They define customer requirements, develop compelling product strategies to drive business value, and partner with cross-functional teams and external vendors to realize those strategies at AWS scale.
