Principal Technical Product Manager, Liquid Cooling, Mechanical Products and Services
Job Description
Lead the strategy and execution for scalable liquid cooling infrastructure across AWS data centers.
Responsibilities
- Craft strategies for AWS liquid cooling architectures by integrating multiple technologies to optimize delivery speed, performance, reliability, and efficiency.
- Create product roadmaps for liquid cooling that align with future server hardware and data center infrastructure plans.
- Build cross functional alignment by leading roadmap reviews and gathering customer feedback.
- Deliver a robust liquid cooling portfolio that satisfies performance and reliability requirements while considering supply chain, manufacturing, construction, and operations implications.
- Lead global deployment strategies, standardizing cooling technologies, developing smart tooling, and optimizing supply chain logistics.
- Explain complex system interactions through detailed diagrams, control narratives, and performance specifications that bridge product and facility needs.
- Direct high performance teams to develop integrated cooling solutions combining heat capture and heat rejection, enabling facility wide thermal management for 100MW+ and achieving mechanical PUE below 1.05.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 7+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 5+ years developing and validating hardware products for direct to chip or immersion liquid cooling
- 5+ years defining liquid cooling product strategies aligned to global data center infrastructure scale and AI hardware needs
Compensation
- Salary: USD 179,900 - 243,400 per year

- The Mechanical Products & Services team provides engineering expertise and lifecycle support for mechanical equipment used in data centers globally.
- Responsibilities include supporting new products and features that address mechanical cooling in data center deployments.
- Team ownership extends to mechanical products throughout their lifecycle, with focus on sustaining and evolving capabilities.
- The scope includes remediation strategies at scale that impact data center capacity or availability.
