Job Description

Based in Atlanta, GA onsite, the Senior Technical Product Manager oversees end-to-end product lifecycle across key technology domains for Warner Bros. Discovery's streaming and digital platforms, collaborating with engineering, design, data science, and business stakeholders to define strategy and deliver innovative experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Craft and drive a multi-quarter roadmap for designated platform domains such as streaming infrastructure, personalization, content delivery, or user experience; align engineering, product, business, and executive leadership to maintain strategic coherence and on-time execution.
  • Act as the primary product voice and decision-maker for the domain, translating intricate technical architectures and business requirements into precise product specifications, including PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria, to guide engineering with clarity and velocity.
  • Make data-driven product decisions by defining and tracking KPIs, conducting A/B tests, and integrating user research, competitive intelligence, and market trends to optimize performance and user satisfaction.
  • Coordinate cross-functional delivery by facilitating agile ceremonies, overseeing sprint planning, removing blockers, and communicating milestones, risks, and trade-offs to stakeholders to ensure commitments are met within scope and schedule.
  • Spot and evaluate emerging technologies, platform capabilities, and industry trends relevant to WBD's digital ecosystem, delivering strategic recommendations to senior leadership to drive innovation and sustain competitive differentiation.
  • Coach and develop junior PMs and associate PMs by setting goals, providing coaching and feedback, and fostering a culture of ownership, curiosity, and continuous improvement within the product organization.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of product management experience, including at least 3 years in a senior or lead TPM role at a technology company, media organization, or consumer platform; proven track record of launching and scaling complex digital products.
  • Strong technical fluency with the ability to engage deeply with software engineering teams on cloud-native architectures, API design, streaming protocols (HLS, DASH), or platform scalability; experience translating technical constraints into actionable product decisions.
  • Proficient with agile development methodologies and tooling (Jira, Confluence, Productboard or equivalents), combined with strong analytical skills and experience using data platforms such as Amplitude, Looker, or Tableau.
