Job Description

Airtable is seeking a Product Manager in San Francisco, onsite, to own AI-native experiences and agent-enabled workflows with end-to-end ownership and a focus on measurable outcomes.

Location: San Francisco, CA (onsite)

Salary: USD 187,000 - 235,000 per year

Responsibilities

  • Own an end-to-end product area, guiding it from problem discovery through launch and post-release measurement.
  • Define AI-native experiences by determining how agents and AI features appear, where humans stay in the loop, and how to build user trust.
  • Tackle cross-cutting system and structural challenges that go beyond simple feature iteration.
  • Prototype early and often, using AI tools to create working versions for rapid user feedback.
  • Establish success metrics for inherently fuzzy AI outcomes, creating frameworks to evaluate AI quality, adoption, and behavior change to inform prioritization.
  • Operate with high agency, prioritizing the most impactful problems rather than waiting for a predefined scope.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product management experience with a track record of shipping products that users rely on.
  • Genuinely AI-forward. You automate real work across workflows, use agents to handle parts of the team’s tasks, and favor prototypes over documents, aiming for compounding AI-driven efficiency.
  • Technically fluent in AI; understands LLM capabilities and tradeoffs, with a viewpoint on retrieval, evaluations, and prompt design. Not required to be an engineer, but capable of operating like a one-person AI stack within a modern AI environment.
  • High agency; motivated by tackling hard areas rather than following an execution-only roadmap.
  • energized by ambiguity and hard problems; you make progress even when priorities shift and a formal roadmap does not exist yet.
  • Product sense for AI interactions; adept at crafting helpful AI experiences, knowing when to show confidence or uncertainty, and how transparency builds trust.
  • User empathy; able to translate complex data capabilities into approachable experiences for non-technical users.
