Product Manager

1181 Applied Maintenance Supplies & Solutions LLC is seeking a Product Manager to oversee multiple product lines from its Strongsville, Ohio site. The role emphasizes driving profitable growth, strengthening supplier relationships, and guiding products through market research, lifecycle management, and vendor oversight to stay competitive in the market. This on-site position requires a bachelor’s degree and at least three years of relevant experience, with a salary range of USD 75,000 to 90,000 per year.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end product life cycle for assigned lines, from concept to retirement.
• Develop and execute product strategies to maximize profitability and market fit.
• Gather customer feedback and track market trends to inform new product launches.
• Monitor and manage the profitability of existing products, adjusting pricing and positioning as needed.
• Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory requirements affecting products.
• Coordinate marketing programs with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Design and deliver product training when required to support sales and customers.
• Provide support to the sales team and customers on product questions.
• Conduct market research to identify potential vendors and sourcing opportunities.
• Assess vendors for price, quality, and ease of doing business, selecting optimal partners.
• Maintain relationships with vendors and negotiate contracts.
• Manage vendor sourcing decisions and propose alternate sourcing strategies within the vendor base.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive vendor scorecard for the assigned product lines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field with 3+ years of industry experience or equivalent.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
• Proven ability to multitask and adapt as needed.
• Strong problem solving and decision making skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Knowledge of SAP and marketing strategies for industrial products is a plus.
• On-site in Strongsville, OH.
• Not eligible for relocation benefits; position must be performed on site.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the US; visa sponsorship is not offered.
