Sr. Digital Product Manager/Owner (Salesforce)
Job Description
The Senior Digital Product Manager/Owner (Salesforce) will steer product strategy and delivery for Finance websites, the customer service agent console, and related digital tools. This role encompasses design, development, testing, launches, warranty support, and ongoing production support in a hybrid Torrance, California environment.
Responsibilities
- Direct the Product Management function and guide cross functional teams.
- Collaborate with CX, business units, development and QA to conceive, specification, deliver and validate user stories.
- Engage with leadership to articulate possibilities and secure approvals for initiatives.
- Oversee platform operations, license management, and cost governance to sustain delivery.
- Drive improvements through large projects, enhancements and production support across products including Finance Websites, Finance Mobile App (to launch soon), Agent Service Console plus Agent Knowledge, and Customer Communications via Marketing Cloud Platform.
- Finance Websites provide digital web channel support and expanded self service for online account management.
- Finance Mobile App is a forthcoming channel enabling customers to make payments with ease.
- Agent Service Console and Agent Knowledge enable customer service representatives to handle requests efficiently with a procedures knowledge base.
- Customer Communications via Marketing Cloud Platform covers message center, email, SMS, web and banner notifications, plus partner managed messages, with ongoing care of the platform and templates.
Requirements
- Direct ownership of major digital tools used by millions of customers; experience with QA, testing and payment processing in financial services or captive finance.
- 3 year roadmaps as a catalyst for change; comfort with ambiguity; analytical, data driven insights; decision analysis for tool and vendor selections.
- Leadership supporting Product Owners and Business Analysts; oversees UX and testing resources; leads agile scrum teams; engages development, marketing, legal and other stakeholders in a large matrix organization; strong written and verbal communication for executive stakeholders.
- Salesforce product expertise and credentials; use the platform roadmap to maximize the product road map; care and feeding of the technical platform enabling all customer activity on the websites; create and monitor health, utilization, technical debt and improvement plans.
- 2+ years with customer facing top brand digital product.
- 2+ years developing roadmaps and performing business planning.
- 2+ years of direct leadership experience, managing associates.
- Experience guiding procurement from option identification through evaluations and RFI/RFP selections of tools and vendors.
- Experience leading grooming sessions, capturing requirements and acceptance criteria, prioritizing and sizing work, preparing and executing user acceptance testing, and assisting with field training.
- Outstanding written and verbal multidisciplinary communication skills.
- Agile certification for Product Owner or Scrum Master; SAFe Agile preferred.
- BA/BS degree.
- 6+ years of product management, development, or operations experience with customer facing top brand digital products.
- 5+ years of leading and managing mixed teams including business and IT, internal and external partners, onshore and nearshore or offshore.
