Job Description

Senior product manager responsible for strategy, lifecycle, and delivery of enterprise software supporting university operations, serving as the primary liaison between Enterprise IT and campus stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Direct a portfolio of enterprise applications that support university business operations.
Define and maintain the product vision, strategy, roadmaps, and lifecycle plans aligned to institutional priorities.
Assess current applications to identify modernization opportunities and efficiency gains.
Rank enhancements based on business value, feasibility, risk, and resource constraints.
Oversee implementation, upgrades, maintenance, and retirement activities for applications.

Oversee data integrations and feeds supporting campus departments, ensuring reliable data flow between core systems like PeopleSoft and other applications.
Monitor scope, schedules, risks, dependencies, and resources to ensure delivery.
Analyze processes and recommend technology solutions to improve operational effectiveness and user satisfaction.
Promote best practices in product management, Agile delivery, governance, and stakeholder engagement.
Evaluate emerging technologies and suggest enhancements aligned with institutional objectives.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree; equivalency policy allows substituting 1 year of higher education for 1 year of related work experience.
Experience: Minimum 6 years of directly related work experience; for this role, a bachelor’s with 8 years of related experience or a master’s with 6 years of related experience is required.
