Job Description

Okta is pursuing a Principal Group Product Manager to define Tenancy-as-a-Service for B2B SaaS on the Auth0/Okta platform. You will own tenant management, schemas, entitlements, and feature flags, shaping the roadmap and partnering with the ISV ecosystem to enable SaaS onboarding and lifecycle management. This hybrid role is based in Seattle, WA.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct hands-on research and prototyping of identity and tenancy solutions, plus market viability tests.
  • Immerse yourself in B2B software development to understand how multi-tenant SaaS is built, identify common pain points, and articulate challenges and opportunities in the space.
  • Own the lifecycle of B2B mass-management tooling, driving the strategy to simplify administration across hundreds of thousands of B2B organizations.
  • Design the roadmap for schema-driven operations, introducing type-safe custom schemas and Structured Tenant Metadata tied to the Auth0 Organization container, including change management for these schemas.
  • Collaborate with engineering and design to translate requirements into APIs and detailed specifications that enable delivery.
  • Develop roadmaps and compelling business cases that express product direction, financial strategy, and downstream alignment.
  • Adhere to the Product Delivery Lifecycle to realize a complete vision while maintaining high standards in security, architecture, and design.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five years of experience leading as a Product Manager or as a Team Lead in engineering.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, or completion of an engineering bootcamp within the same timeframe.
  • Experience developing on or working within multi-tenant SaaS applications.
  • Deep understanding of identity and directory protocols including OAuth, SAML, and SCIM.
  • Proven ability to design APIs and produce detailed specifications to enable engineering execution.
  • Practical experience with data analysis using SQL and BI tools.
  • Ability to leverage modern AI tools such as Claude Code and Codex to accelerate work while avoiding low-quality output.
