Job Description
Splitero is looking for a Product Operations Manager to build and run the operating layer that connects Splitero’s product and engineering teams with the operations organization that supports them. In this role, you’ll own the end-to-end intake and release enablement workflow, create measurement and feedback loops, and strengthen the processes and tooling that help features land successfully and improve roadmap inputs.
What you’ll own
- Lead first-line review of inbound bug reports and operational issues, including reproducing, investigating, validating, and collecting the context needed before anything reaches a PM or engineer.
- Separate false positives and work-as-designed reports from material issues, then route validated items to engineering with complete, well-formed tickets.
- Assemble fast fact bases for material issues (such as scope, duration, and affected records) to support PM and director impact decisions.
- Meet and report on response-time SLAs to operations, with speed treated as a core deliverable of the role.
- Build and run a product enablement program for the operations org, including release training, documentation, change communications, and adoption follow-up with operational stakeholders.
- Own the distinction between shipped and landed by verifying adoption after launch and closing gaps at the source with analytics and engineering support.
- Turn recurring patterns of false positives and confusion into targeted training interventions, and provide actionable feedback to product and engineering to improve internal and external user experiences.
- Instrument the intake system so every report is categorized (bug/training gap/product gap/config), trended over time, and published for visibility.
- Support confirming definition-of-done gates in the release process, including tracking requirements, enabling readiness, and monitoring new features through release phases.
- Produce recurring feedback reports that feed roadmap planning through a systematic voice of internal users, partners, and homeowners using Splitero’s platform.
- Extend existing project management tools and workflows for intake, triage, and enablement; assess what exists, build on what’s working, and define what future success looks like.
- Run product team operating cadences tied to delivery, including QBR preparation, delivery handoffs, and roadmap tooling.
- Design the function for scale, with documentation and measurable outcomes that allow the work to split into dedicated support and enablement roles as the company grows.
Requirements
- 5–8 years across product operations, product management, technical program management, and/or product support.
- Strong technical experience in a SaaS organization, with the ability to ask effective technical questions, triage issues, and assess urgency across product and operational conversations.
- Experience standing up at least one function or process from scratch at a scaling company, including the ability to explain what you’d do differently and why.
- Investigative instincts, including comfort reproducing issues and separating “broken” from “misunderstood.”
- Technical credibility with engineers in either the Salesforce ecosystem or the open-source ecosystem of Node/React/Next/Postgres (or similar).
- Experience driving adoption or enablement for non-technical audiences, with an understanding that communication shipped does not guarantee behavior change.
- Data-fluency, with a tendency to count, trend, and use data for alignment across cross-functional teams.
- Diplomatic accountability, including the ability to explain “not yet” to directors and “that’s not a bug” to operations with clear reasoning and next steps.
- Track record at a startup or growth-stage company, comfortable with ambiguity as processes are refined.
