Job Description

This onsite Product Manager role focuses on AWS database services within the Database Pricing Team in Seattle, WA. The position shapes strategy, translates data-driven insights into action, and advances adoption of advanced technical product features through collaboration with senior leadership, customers, and cross-functional teams.

Compensation

Salary: USD 151,200 - 204,600 per year

Responsibilities

  • Build and sustain collaborative relationships across multiple teams to understand available data and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Lead monthly business reviews, collect critical metrics across the organization, and develop business cases for various opportunities.
  • Interpret results, derive actionable recommendations, and communicate them clearly to executive stakeholders.
  • Play a central role in broad business planning, partnering with senior executives to define targets and required resources, and shaping long-term product and business strategy.
  • Apply creativity and sound judgment in decision making.
  • Understand the business context behind decisions made within and across groups.
  • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of industry and technology trends.
  • Contribute to Amazon's growth by engaging directly with customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience owning or driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience with feature delivery and evaluating tradeoffs for a product
  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions about technology decisions and strategy related to a product
  • Experience managing technical products or online services
  • Experience representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
