Senior Product Manager - Technical, DynamoDB, DynamoDB

Responsibilities

• Own and drive a strategic focus area within DynamoDB that enables customer success, such as event-driven architectures, scalability/serverless, developer experience, data protection and security, price-performance, extensibility, and global app development.
• Define the strategy for your focus area by starting from customer needs and leveraging service telemetry, user feedback, and industry trends to craft PRFAQs, pricing decisions, and naming narratives; hold yourself and partners accountable for the highest quality customer outcomes.
• Launch is just the beginning. After releasing a capability, grow usage, iterate on feedback, and educate customers while partnering with engineering, legal, documentation, marketing, sales, solution architecture, finance, and GTM teams to drive adoption and impact.
• Provide clarity in ambiguous situations, act as a builder, and maintain a strong, customer-obsessed mindset across initiatives.

Requirements

• 5+ years of technical product management with internet business experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on technical experience (software development, network development, IT, or related fields).
• Experience taking a product from conception and definition through engineering design to market.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale SaaS, PaaS, or LaaS products with full lifecycle ownership from concept to GTM.
• Knowledge of engineering practices across the full software/hardware/network development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, certification, and live-site operations.
• Experience collaborating in agile teams delivering software products and features.
