Payment Processing Product Manager - Vice President
Job Description
Based onsite in Plano, TX, this Vice President level role leads product management for payment processing at JPMorganChase, shaping strategy, overseeing end-to-end delivery, and expanding scalable platforms with a focus on efficiency and measurable outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Define and communicate a product strategy and vision that delivers meaningful value to customers.
- Lead discovery efforts and market analysis to identify customer needs and translate them into the product roadmap.
- Own and refine the product backlog to align with the strategic roadmap and value proposition.
- Establish a framework to monitor the product's key success metrics, including cost, features, functionality, risk posture, and reliability.
- Develop technical proofs of concept to support technology partners in scaling initiatives and outline an automation roadmap to streamline end-to-end payment brand implementation.
- Craft and maintain the strategy, vision, and roadmap for expanding payment processing platforms.
- Execute ongoing discovery and market research to weave customer solutions into the roadmap.
- Manage and evolve the backlog to support strategic goals and value propositions.
- Track metrics such as cost, functionality, risk posture, and reliability, and define KPIs to gauge customer lifecycle success.
- Collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams to drive product development and launches, and communicate vision and progress to stakeholders to build consensus.
- Mentor junior product managers and promote a culture of collaboration and innovation.
Requirements
- Five or more years of experience in product management or a related field.
- Advanced understanding of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics.
- Proven ability to lead end-to-end product life cycle activities from discovery through value management.
- Strong analytical skills to support data-driven decisions in payment processes.
- Experience with agile methodologies and tools such as Jira.
- Proficiency in Python for data analysis and familiarity with statistical methods.
- Knowledge of data preparation techniques.
- Experience managing large datasets.
