Principal Product Mgr. - Tech, Brand Measurement, Measurement, Ad Tech, and Data Science (MADS)

Based in New York, NY onsite, this Principal Product Manager role leads brand measurement solutions for advertisers across Amazon Ads, shaping strategy, roadmaps, and data-driven reporting products in collaboration with engineering, data science, and design teams. The position offers a salary range of USD 197,900 - 267,800 per year and requires a bachelor's degree along with substantial experience in technical product management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of innovative brand measurement solutions.
• Help advertisers measure, analyze, and optimize their brand-building campaigns across Amazon Ads.
• Deliver performance reporting and actionable insights to connect media investments with real customer outcomes.
• Define the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of technical solutions to help advertisers maximize their brand-building efforts.
• Collaborate with engineering, data science, and design teams to build robust, data-driven reporting products.
• Help advertisers understand the effectiveness of their campaigns, identify optimization opportunities, and drive tangible business outcomes.
• Work backward from the customer to identify needs.
• Partner with engineering to build scalable event-driven architectures to process billions of impressions and conversions daily.
• Drive adoption through close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• 4+ years of end-to-end product delivery experience
• 8+ years of technical product or program management experience
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
• Experience owning and driving roadmap strategy and definition
• Experience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and product strategy
• Experience in technical product management
