Product Operations Technical Specialist, Ghost

The Product Operations Technical Specialist for Ghost at Anduril Industries is an onsite role based in Costa Mesa, CA. The position focuses on supporting end users, maintaining the availability of deployed Ghost UAS capabilities, and leading incident triage, root-cause analysis, and rapid issue resolution across the fleet.

Compensation

USD 98,000 - 130,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Sustain Ghost deployments by aligning understanding of customer missions with product capabilities and delivered functionalities.
• Triage, diagnose, and identify root causes of incidents; drive postmortem actions, provide status visibility through resolution, and abstract incidents to optimize system and product reliability. This includes log reviews, diagnostics, and using Linux and command line tools for management and resolution.
• Continuously improve the fleet's observability and health telemetry in partnership with multiple Ghost team functions.
• Collect, organize, and analyze system failure data to define trends, support proactive sustainment processes, and guide resource allocation.
• Support global customers through proactive communications and precise execution. Track and manage customer-facing incidents and concerns, ensuring timely response, mitigation, and communication of resolution.
• Evaluate and improve product capabilities by analyzing customer feedback for capability requirements, performance indicators, and desired functionality.
• Maintain awareness of current product specifications and bridge understanding between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Coordinate technical and non-technical efforts across business, engineering, and sustainment functions to influence decisions and maximize end-user capability availability.
• Travel as required to support customer needs and operations.

Requirements

• Demonstrated self-starter with the ability to find and resolve issues independently.
• Strong problem-solving aptitude across hardware, software, and networking, with the ability to drive vague technical problems to clarity and resolution.
• Proven ability to master a technical system and support it in operational environments, with an intrinsic drive to be self-sufficient across the system's depth and breadth.
• Consistent execution of processes with rigor and quality, as if performing the 100th rep with the same focus as the first.
• Comfort navigating ambiguity and creating new approaches to work.
• Excellent written, visual, and verbal communication skills.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Security clearance; past clearances or background investigations are a plus.
