Senior Product Manager - Technical, PLM Systems, Global Robotics Delivery
Job Description
Amazon Robotics Delivery is shaping the next generation of PLM systems to support its global robotics delivery operations. In this senior technical product role, you will define the strategic vision and roadmap for the PLM work-stream, scope large initiatives, and drive cross-functional development to scale. Based in Austin, TX, this onsite position partners with engineering and business teams to translate complex requirements into scalable PLM solutions that align with the pace of a global robotics program.
Location: Austin, TX (onsite) • Salary: USD 151,200 - 204,600 per year • Education: Bachelor's degree
Responsibilities
- Set the long-term strategy and roadmap for the next-generation PLM work-stream.
- Lead large-scale technology programs, delivering critical solutions, driving meaningful improvements, or retiring outdated systems across multiple teams.
- Apply product management best practices to refine processes and boost cross-functional team productivity and impact.
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to a broad set of stakeholders.
- Participate in hiring and mentor teammates to raise skills and delivery capability.
- Steer the creation of new product visions, strategies, and roadmaps.
- Collaborate with engineering and business units to identify opportunities for scalable products or services.
- Author Working Backwards documents (PRFAQ).
- Proactively surface and resolve issues that could affect the roadmap.
- Define business requirements and translate them into features and user stories.
- Provide ownership of project status updates to stakeholders and leadership.
- Oversee budgets, scope, and timelines for product implementations.
- Define KPIs to measure product success.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- Proven experience owning and driving roadmap strategy and definition.
- Experience delivering features and evaluating tradeoffs for a product.
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions on technology decisions and strategy related to a product.
- Experience managing technical products or online services.
- Experience representing and advocating for a diverse set of customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning.
