Job Description
Senior Asset & Wealth Management Operations Business Manager responsible for driving strategic initiatives, coordinating with HR and Finance, and advising executive leadership within Investment Product Operations.
Location: Columbus, OH (onsite) • Salary: USD 104,500 - 145,000 per year
Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the Investment Product Operations leadership team and a broad set of product stakeholders.
- Assist the lead business manager in communicating strategic priorities and tracking progress across initiatives.
- Prepare and deliver accurate, clear, and professional presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate across the organization to execute on the people agenda.
- Partner with HR to monitor open headcount status, funding, and overall staffing needs.
- Coordinate with Finance to prepare budgets and forecasts, manage expenses, headcount reporting, and allocations.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization, organizational and operational design improvements, and thought leadership.
- Plan and manage agendas, presentations, and follow-ups for management meetings, internal forums and town halls, and select client meetings; streamline processes and prep senior management for meetings (data, talking points, and presentations).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in or related to financial services strategy, business management, and/or financial planning.
- Comfort with ambiguity, proactive and self-motivated, able to drive initiatives from ideation to completion.
- Proven ability to influence and align diverse teams toward a common goal.
- Excellent written, visual, and verbal communication skills, with strong PowerPoint proficiency.
- Strategic thinking with the ability to develop solutions and present recommendations to business leaders.
- Highly organized with solid project management experience, capable of prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools (eg Tableau).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
