Senior Product Manager - Tech, Content Orchestration, Fire TV Experience
Job Description
Amazon's Fire TV team is seeking a Senior Product Manager to steer the tech and content orchestration behind Broad Personalization and re-engagement on Fire TV. You will own the long-term strategy and the customer experience for how Fire TV surfaces organize and rank content across surfaces. This onsite role is based in Sunnyvale, CA, with a salary range of USD 173,900 to 235,200 per year, and requires a Bachelor's degree and at least five years of product leadership experience.
Responsibilities
- Define and drive the long-term vision and strategy for organic page content ranking across Fire TV surfaces.
- Set and enforce the quality bar for content row ranking across the organization, establish best practices, lead cross-team reviews, and ensure new surfaces meet a uniform quality standard before launch.
- Collaborate with Business Intelligence to design measurement frameworks for content surface performance, ensuring the right signals to assess ranking quality and customer impact.
- Lead the strategy for re-engagement features and the technical system that collects watch history and partner signals.
- Scale broad personalization features globally with proper localization, closing gaps between US and international customer experiences.
- Translate complex strategies into actionable product requirements, user stories, and technical specifications.
- Balance prioritization and trade-offs among customer experience, technical complexity, performance, and business impact.
- Own key metrics including re-engagement, content discovery success rates, and customer satisfaction.
- Stay at the forefront of AI and ML advancements in ranking, recommendation systems, and content intelligence.
Requirements
- At least five years of product or program management, product marketing, business development, or technology experience.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Experience delivering features and navigating tradeoffs across a product.
- Proven ability to own and drive roadmap strategy and definition.
- Experience delivering products end-to-end.
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions on technology decisions and product strategy.
- Experience managing technical products or online services.
- Experience representing diverse customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning.
