As a Principal Product Manager for Tech within Digital Acceleration, you will own the post-purchase subscription management vision and roadmap for Amazon.com and the mobile app, guiding cross-functional teams to deliver a unified, customer-first subscription experience at scale.
This role centers on turning customer insights and business priorities into a clear, executable strategy that scales across the organization and across channels.
Responsibilities
- Own the post-purchase subscription management vision and a 1–3 year roadmap for Amazon.com and the mobile app, translating customer insights and business priorities into a clear, sequenced plan.
- Coordinate across more than 35 digital client teams, UX, engineering, and legal to deliver standardized capabilities while enabling selective customization that delivers real customer value.
- Design and run data-driven experiments, including weblabs and A/B tests, to validate decisions, quantify customer impact, and iterate rapidly based on statistically significant results.
- Collaborate with UX to define intuitive UI improvements, translating user insights and product strategy into high-quality interface updates for Amazon.com and the mShop experience.
- Define precise product requirements and work with multiple engineering groups to accelerate delivery of core post-purchase management features, manage dependencies, and ensure quality and timely execution.
- Make rigorous trade-off decisions using customer experience principles and metric guardrails, escalating when necessary to protect value and outcomes.
- Drive platform scalability by promoting reusable UI components, display-ready APIs, and standardized workflows to shorten deployment times and accelerate innovation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 10+ years of end-to-end product delivery experience
- Experience developing mobile and web products and technologies
- Experience partnering with engineers on product enhancements
- Experience owning and driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Knowledge of product experimentation, including A/B testing
