Job Description
The role of Product Operations Manager, Livestream at TikTok Shop centers on shaping merchant education, codifying operational playbooks, and leveraging AI to boost efficiency and quality across the live commerce ecosystem. This position focuses on enabling growth opportunities within the livestream shopping space and aligning cross-functional teams to scale impact.
Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of TikTok Shop live features and create scalable education content and operational playbooks, including articles, videos, and FAQs.
- Expand distribution channels for educational resources and measure their effectiveness.
- Provide training for internal teams and external merchants and creators, including Q and A support, issue troubleshooting, and both online and offline sessions.
- Identify user needs through research and feedback, translate insights into product improvements, and drive adoption of live product features.
- Apply AI across workflows such as content creation, Q and A support, and case analysis; explore AI driven tools and workflows to scale impact.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2+ years of experience in internet or tech operations or product roles.
- Ability to break down complex problems into actionable solutions and develop repeatable methodologies.
- Ability to apply AI in practical business scenarios, including content generation, workflow automation, or using AI tools to improve efficiency (hands-on project experience preferred).
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and project management skills, with solid data analysis capabilities.
- Experience in e-commerce or live commerce is a plus.
- Experience with creator ecosystems or content-based commerce.

Our mission is to empower sellers and delight customers by defining and executing strategies for robust merchandise growth. The team optimizes the user journey across shopping channels and collaborates cross-functionally with product, engineering, marketing, and category teams. We serve as the bridge between sellers' needs and the platform capabilities.

- Salary: USD 115,520 - 209,380 per year

- Compensation notes: Compensation may vary outside the listed range based on qualifications, skills, and location. Base pay is part of the total package and may be eligible for bonuses, incentives, and restricted stock units.
