This onsite contract role in Central Valley, NY focuses on maintaining organized inventory, processing shipments, stocking and displaying product, and supporting the guest experience on the retail floor, while participating in omnichannel programs to maximize sell-through. The position pays hourly between $20 and $25.
Responsibilities
- Keep the inventory workspace clean and organized to boost efficiency and maintain a safe store environment.
- Carry out the inventory processing plan set by the Product Operations Lead, including RFID counts aligned with company standards.
- Receive and process product deliveries, folding, sorting, and hanging items to optimize space and productivity.
- Prepare, package, and ship merchandise to the appropriate locations, handling damages or consolidations per company guidelines.
- Adjust product displays, perform daily restocking and destocking, and move products on the floor to preserve organization and presentation.
- Implement market-relevant omnichannel programs, such as buy online pickup in store and ship from store, in line with company standards.
- Engage with guests on the retail floor or connect them with a team member to support the guest experience.
- Contribute to a respectful and inclusive team environment that fosters a supportive experience for both colleagues and guests.
- Utilize in-store technology to streamline operations and enhance guest interactions.
Requirements
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country where the store is located
- Must be able to travel to the assigned store with reliable transportation
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Work schedule varies based on store needs and may include evenings, overnights, mornings, afternoons, weekends, and holidays
- Shifts may occur when the store is closed to guests
- No prior experience required

Compensation & Benefits Package
- Base Pay Range: $20.50 - $23.59 per hour, subject to minimum wage in the location
- Target Bonus: $2.00 per hour
- Total Target Base Pay Range: $22.50 - $25.59 per hour

Work context
Work may involve moving around the store, sometimes on the sales floor under bright lights and loud music, and other times in areas without windows or natural light. The role is performed as part of a team, though independent work and the use of technology are also common. You may be required to lift boxes up to 30 lbs (13.6 kg) or climb ladders to reach materials.
