Job Description

Based in Columbus, Ohio and on site, this senior associate product manager role centers on firm-wide deposits within JPMorgan Chase’s Firmwide Core Deposits team. You will collaborate with product leadership to drive discovery-driven opportunities and guide cross-functional development that delivers customer-centric deposit products aligned with the bank’s strategic roadmap.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with the Product Manager to surface new product opportunities grounded in customer needs and market signals through user research and discovery work.
  • Supports discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and feed them into the product roadmap.
  • Assists in gathering user research, journey maps, and market analyses to shape the strategic roadmap and identify feature opportunities that deliver value.
  • Maintains and evolves a product backlog aligned with the strategic roadmap and value proposition.
  • Crafts requirements, epics, and user stories to guide development.
  • Plans for upstream and downstream impacts of features on the end-to-end product experience.
  • Monitors product metrics and tracks scope, schedule, cost, and quality across the development lifecycle.
  • Keeps work organized and adaptable while prioritizing critical scope.
  • Steers the product toward maximizing client value.
  • Synthesizes large amounts of information to inform quick decision-making, takes informed risks, adjusts course as needed, and iterates continually.

Requirements

  • Three-plus years of product management experience or an equivalent track record.
  • Experience across product lifecycle activities, including discovery and requirements definition.
  • Developing knowledge of data analytics and data literacy.
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative, and cross-functional environment.
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, able to establish trust across senior stakeholders and multiple lines of business and functions.
  • Proven ability to deliver results in a complex environment.
  • Experience managing digital products with a solid understanding of digital platforms, technologies, and user experiences.
