Product Manager VP - AWS Data Infrastructure Services

Senior Product Manager VP responsible for AWS Data Analytics Services product strategy and lifecycle at JPMorganChase, onsite in New York, NY, with a salary range of USD 122,550 - 201,000 per year.

Responsibilities

• Define and communicate a product strategy and vision that delivers value to customers.
• Lead discovery efforts and market research to identify customer needs and translate them into the product roadmap.
• Manage and prioritize the product backlog to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition.
• Establish and monitor key success metrics such as cost, feature coverage, risk posture, and reliability.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for Data and AI/ML technologies, with emphasis on AWS Analytics Services (Athena, Glue, Lake Formation, Redshift), providing guidance to internal teams and customers.
• Coordinate cross-functional collaboration with project management discipline to keep the product team cohesive and focused on benefits.
• Continuously refine the backlog by defining detailed requirements, precise specifications, and prioritizing features based on customer impact, business value, and engineering supportability.
• Collaborate with Product Marketing, Client Engagement, and Solutions Architecture to craft go-to-market plans and support product launches.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in product management or a related discipline.
• Advanced knowledge of the product development lifecycle, product design processes, and data analytics.
• Proven ability to lead end-to-end product lifecycle activities from discovery and ideation through requirements definition and value management.
• Professional experience with AWS Analytics Services such as Athena, EMR, Glue, Lake Formation, and Redshift.
• Familiarity with GenAI use cases including LLM, RAG, Model Context Protocol, Agents, and AI Gateway.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills, with a track record of influencing across engineering, business, and executive stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
• Experience with agile development methodologies and tools.
